If you have configured a URL coupon on your coupon in Advanced Coupons for WooCommerce, then you’ll have noticed the Redirect To URL setting.
This setting lets you set the end-destination of the visitor after they have visited the URL coupon link to apply the coupon.
Sometimes though, there might be an issue with the redirection. It may be just dropping them back at the homepage.
When it comes to redirection issues, it is usually because of a malformed URL in the Redirect To URL setting.
You need to make sure that the link you placed in that setting is a valid URL.
The most common issue is forgetting to start the URL with a “http://” or “https://”
If it doesn’t have that, it’s not considered a valid URL and it will not work.
So if you can see that it is redirecting to the homepage, which the plugin does as a backup to ensure it doesn’t send the user to a broken URL, check the Redirect To URL setting is configured properly with a valid URL.
