One of the most common strategies to boost your sales is to let your customer try your products. It’ll allow them to get to know the quality of your product or service. One of the ways to do that is to incentivize their first order via a coupon.
Before you start: The Number of Customer Orders cart condition is part of Advanced Coupons Premium. It reads the order history of the logged-in customer account, so a shopper who is not logged in will not pass the condition and the coupon will not apply at guest checkout.
First, you’ll need to set the Discount Type and Amount for this coupon.
Our Advanced Coupon for WooCommerce has a Cart Condition feature that could help you target specifically the customer that has not made any purchase on your store yet. The Number of Customer Orders cart condition will let you check how many orders have been placed.
For this First Order, you’ll need to set the Condition to “EXACTLY”, then set the Count to 0. This means that the customer hasn’t made any purchases yet.
The “No. of previous days” is set at 0 as well, so the condition looks at the customer’s whole order history instead of a recent window.
You can further adjust this coupon with our other cart conditions as well. For example, you may want to limit the coupon for a certain role or with a purchase of a certain subtotal in the cart.
