What Can You Do With The Any Product BOGO Feature?
Any Product works very similarly to the Product Category BOGO trigger and apply type.
If you choose the Any Product type for your trigger (the Buy part of the deal), once the quantity is satisfied on the cart and the cart has the BOGO coupon applied, the deal will become eligible.
Likewise, if you choose the Any Product type for the apply type (the Get part of the deal), once the quantity you’re giving has been satisfied, with any product on the store, the deal will be given.
This kind of configuration is perfect for when you’re running a sitewide BOGO (Buy One, Get One) style deal, such as “Buy any 2 products, get another product for free”.
You can also pair up the Any Product trigger (Buy) or apply (Get) type with any of the other types available including:
- Specific Product
- Any Combination of Products
- Product Categories
This makes it super powerful for store owners and super easy to redeem for shoppers.
What happens if there’s products with different prices? How does it choose?
The great thing about BOGO deals in Advanced Coupons is that it always favours the least expensive product for the “Get” part of the deal.
So in the case above where the Album was given away, it’s because it was only $15 whereas the Cap was $16 and the Beanie was $18.
