Before you follow along, make sure that you have both Advanced Coupons and PushEngage installed on your WordPress website. We also recommend creating your free PushEngage account beforehand for a seamless experience.
So, with that out of the way, let’s begin!
Step 1: Create your coupon
Our integration with the PushEngage WordPress plugin allows you to send push notifications for both new and existing coupons. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to set it up right from coupon creation.
Firstly, head to your WordPress dashboard Marketing > Coupons > Add New. This will take you to the coupon creation settings page, where you can give your coupon a name and description. For this example, let’s create a coupon that grants a 10% discount for all customer orders for a limited time:

- If you haven’t installed the plugin yet, you’ll see an option to install and activate the plugin directly from this interface, as seen below:
- If you have the plugin installed, simply connect your website by clicking “Connect Your Site”. Then, you can follow the prompts to create a PushEngage account or log in to your existing one.
