Customers forget the coupons you send them. The My Coupons tab puts every coupon they can use in one place inside their account, so they do not have to dig through old emails. This article covers turning the tab on, choosing which coupons appear there, and what customers see when a coupon is expired or does not apply to their cart yet.
Prerequisites
- WooCommerce installed and active.
- Advanced Coupons for WooCommerce Premium installed and active.
Where customers find it
The tab appears on the WooCommerce My Account page, named My Coupons. Customers see the coupons available to them as cards, and can copy a code straight from the card.

Turning the tab on or off
The tab is shown by default. To hide it for everyone:
- Go to Coupons → Settings.
- On the General tab, tick Hide my coupons tab.
- Save your settings.
The setting description reads “If checked, this feature will hide my coupons tab on my account page.” Leave it unticked to keep the tab visible.
Choosing which coupons appear
Each coupon decides for itself whether it shows up. Open the coupon in the Coupon Editor, then look under Coupon data → General for two tick boxes.
- Show on my coupons page?: when ticked, this coupon appears on every customer’s My Coupons page. Leave it unticked to keep a coupon out of the list.
- Show only eligible coupon on my coupons page?: when ticked, this coupon only appears for customers whose current cart already qualifies for it. Leave it unticked and the coupon is listed for everyone, whether or not their cart qualifies yet.
The second box is the one to reach for when a coupon has cart conditions. Showing a coupon nobody can use yet invites support tickets, but hiding it removes the nudge to add more to the cart. Pick whichever suits the promotion.
Expired coupons
Expired coupons are still listed on the My Coupons page. This is deliberate: a customer who saved a code and comes back to find it gone assumes the site is broken, so the page shows the coupon and makes clear it can no longer be used.
If a customer tries to apply one, they get the expiry message rather than a discount. You can replace the default wording under the coupon’s expiry message setting.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a coupon missing from a customer’s My Coupons page?
Check the coupon’s Show on my coupons page? box first. If that is ticked, check Show only eligible coupon on my coupons page?: with that on, the coupon stays hidden until the customer’s cart qualifies.
Can customers apply a coupon straight from the tab?
They can copy the code from the card and apply it at the cart or checkout in the usual way.
Does the tab work with a personalised coupon?
Yes. A coupon restricted to particular customers only appears for those customers.
